Someone tell me...why are men so daft sometimes?
I mean, women give off perfectly clear signals, there is never any discrepancy about what they are thinking - so why is it that men have such a hard time understanding what a woman wants?
Actually, in a man's defense, I DO realize that women can be a, mystifying sometimes - but come on! Do we really need to spell everything out all the time?
Men - do me a favour next time your wife or girlfriend is giving you that look - you know, the one where she's staring at you like you have 6 heads, her eyes are narrowed, her brow furrowed, and her mouth is slightly open in disgust? That look is usually being used because there is something she feels is quite obvious that you are just not getting.
So the favour is this: take a step back, clear your mind, and try to think logically about what the problem could be. I bet that at least 50% of the time you could figure out what the problem is and save yourself a fight.

Hm... well let me tell you something. It is true - men often don't get it, and women often complain about how men don't get them. Well... the reverse is also true. Women obviously don't get men... Its a known fact, Men don't get hints - and women SHOULD know that about men... So WHY don't women just TELL us what the problem is instead of trying to make us figure it out when they should KNOW that men won't get hints most of the time... I'm sorry to hear that you think men are so daft, but if women were really as clever as they think they'd know better than to play games like that :) :) :) :) :) (lots of smiley faces so the women that read this don't kill me) :) :) :) :)

Oh Dear Zig, believe me, I have heard this argument before - and it's true, maybe women should just accept the fact that men are oblivious and outright tell them things.
Please excuse us for trying to give the male species the benefit of the doubt and thinking that maybe, for once, they might get it without having to be told.
The thing is - once in a very rare while, a man will surprise us and do something or understand something without us having to explain it. This almost always gives women a glimmer of hope that maybe the man is starting to evolve...but, then we learn the hard way that it's just not so.
I admit it - sometimes women are daft - for thinking that a man might not be.
;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) - lots of winks for all the boys that I love out there ;) ;) ;) :)

I'm confused. I still don't know what I missed. I worked, I waited for a tow truck for an hour and a half, I dropped off my car again, I walked home in the rain, I got soaked, I came home, and BAM!!

This blog magically appears....

Need an extra hand with that shovel?

A clear hint to you is not a clear hint to a man. Do yourself (and your man) a favor. Got a problem? Talk about it. The nudge-nudge-wink-wink doesn't help. Bitching about it because we didn't get it doesn't help, either.

If you acknowledge that we can't get a clue, why create the drama by giving us one more chance to fail?

Chris - I know, you don't get it. I'm halfway over you not getting it - but still a tiny bit miffed.
I have one word for you: quickie.

Double A - sigh, forgive me for trying to give men the benefit of the doubt...I won't do it again.

I'm a little scared...but I agree 100% with Zig. Men are like Golden Retrievers for the most part. We aren't going to catch on to what you are thinking ever....ever.

Did you say you are having quiche for supper? LOL...I kill myself sometimes.

This is something that will raise its ugly head from time to time. Try as we might, men are totally crap at this sort of thing. Sometimes we manage to get it, but often not, even to the extent of totally misreading things which leads to even more crap hitting the fan!
